A lattice Boltzmann study of dynamic immiscible displacement mechanisms in pore doublets

چکیده
An advanced chromodynamics, Rothmann-Keller (RK) type lattice Boltzmann model (LBM) is used in this study. The new benefits from high stability and capability of independently setting the interfacial tension fluids as an input parameter. In addition, coupled with a wall-density approach to simulate hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties wall surfaces. Finally, injection wetting (non-wetting) fluid pore doublet geometry which initially filled non-wetting (wetting) simulated. results simulation reveal RK-LBM relative permeabilities porous media for future studies two-immiscible phase flow various geoenvironmental problems.
